Our Story

Maison Oaks Co. was created as a space to slow down and reconnect—with ourselves, with one another, and with the natural beauty of Southern Louisiana.

Rooted in a belief in intentional living and meaningful connection, each experience is thoughtfully designed to feel unhurried and grounded in care.

Founded by a counseling graduate student at LSU Health New Orleans, Maison Oaks is a woman- and veteran-owned business shaped by a deep respect for emotional balance, presence, and the way environments influence how we feel and relate. While not a therapeutic service, each experience is curated through a wellness-informed lens—offering calm, restorative moments where the water meets the oaks.

  • Each picnic is fully styled and thoughtfully prepared, including:

    Low picnic table, wooden lounge chairs with pillows, and a tilt umbrella for adjustable shade
    Layered rugs, blankets, and additional pillows for a comfortable lounge area
    Curated linens and décor
    Plates, flatware, cloth napkins, water glasses, and wine glasses
    Ice chest with ice, bottle opener, and wine opener
    Food cover (net), hand sanitizer, bug spray, and sunscreen

    A vase for floral arrangements can be provided upon request.

    A team member remains nearby, discreetly, to ensure your setup is looked after if you choose to step away and explore.

    Maison Oaks Co. handles full setup and breakdown so you can arrive, unwind, and enjoy.

    Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages to personalize the experience.

  • Each picnic is thoughtfully designed for 2–4 guests to maintain an intimate and comfortable experience.

  • Food and beverages are not included. Guests are invited to bring their own selections.

    Some personal local favorites include Smoke & Honey, Toups' Meatery, 1000 Figs, The Bean Gallery, Café du Monde, and Liuzza’s by the Track.

  • Guests are asked to arrive within 5 minutes of their scheduled booking time to ensure a seamless experience.

  • Additional time may be available as an add-on and must be selected in advance. Extensions are subject to availability.

  • We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled experience are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling.

    Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable.

    If weather or conditions impact the experience, we will work with you to reschedule at a mutually suitable time.
